PULL THE CORD.
You can recalibrate the instrument. Strengthen it. Train it. Optimise it.
But eventually you have to ask another question:
Environment is an input. And inputs influence output.
Sometimes what inhibits you is around you: the entourage, circumstances, neighbourhood, relationships, negative influences, expectations and noise that continually reinforce the pattern you are trying to escape.
If you cannot recognise it, you cannot detect it. If you cannot detect it, you cannot intelligently respond to it.
Not every environment deserves your adaptation. There is no medal for becoming extraordinarily good at surviving conditions that are unnecessarily hurting you.
A plant can have extraordinary potential. Wrong soil. Wrong light. Wrong temperature. Wrong water. And we stare at the leaves asking: WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE PLANT?
You can keep adjusting yourself by five degrees while remaining anchored to something pulling fifty times harder in the opposite direction.
Change the coordinates. Change the inputs. Change what reaches your eyes and ears every day. Change what the system is being asked to tolerate.
Movement can become momentum. Momentum can become trajectory. Trajectory can become escape velocity.
You do not have to worship what happened. Just don't waste it. Waste can become substrate. Failure can become information. Rubble can become building material.
